Geez - Bob was a good guy.  I rememeber we were going to Wentworth in 1965 on a snowy morning - and cut thru the Midway Parking lot to skip a light (corner of W. Squantum St and Hancock St) - only to slide sideways down the hill - just missing a concrete stantion with a car vacuum on it. We still made it to school - with H. Russell Beatty's blessing - on time. Bob was a great surveyor - and will be sorely missed. - Joe Gildea
