I didn't know Guy well but I happen to see his obit in the Quincy Sun. I saved it as I did for other classmates obits that I came upon.
Guy died February 9, 2004 at Quincy Medical Center. He was born with a heart defect and was not expected to live to 30. He had a triple transplant surgery at 49. He became, at the time, the nation's longest survivor of such an operation. The only other two patients of such a surgery before him died within six months.
He had a wife, Caterina, 3 daughters, Victoria, Christina, and Angelique. Two sons, Gaetano and Anthony.
