Donald McNally
William Kevin Flynn died from a heart attack at the age of 57. Kevin, as we all knew him, left a wife,Maureen and three children, Patrick, Matthew and Elizabeth.
Kevin graduated from the co-op program at Northeastern University, majoring in Journalism. His employment during and after his college years was with the Quincy Patriot Ledger, elevating himself to celebrity status with his weekly column, which the local politicians either loved or dreaded. His knowledge of Quincy and its players was unique.
Kevin and his family moved to the Atlantic section of Quincy back in 1951, and fortunately for me, they settled next door to my family's home. Kevin being an only child, and I being the last of five, became instant brothers-in-common, and continued a wonderful friendship until his passing. He would so be looking forward to this next planned reunion, it would be right up his alley. I deeply regret that Kevin, as well as other fellow classmates, will not be with us.

I remember Bill Flynn also as he was in my homeroom for 4 years. He sat in back of me and I found out he had a crush on me but I was going steady. Funny the things one remembers from our school days. He was a nice guy.
C. Stephen Bressler
Bill and I were in the same journalism classes during our freshman year at Northeastern University's Burlington campus. We also carpooled together and so spent a lot of time talking during our drives north. I lost track of him when I spent the next year in Israel, but was pleased, years later, when I saw that he had been quite successful at the Patriot Ledger.
Linda A. Pratt (Ward)
I have fond memories of Bill Flynn, as well. He lived next to Don McNally and across the street from my best friend, Pat Grant. We would often walk to North together in the mornings. He was such a great, genuine guy. I am saddened that he is no longer with us, but pleased to read he had a wonderful family, and was so successful in his career at the Patriot Ledger. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

I remember Bill as a great jokester always with a smile on his face, funny in and out of class, sorry to learn of his passing
