Arlene those of us who grew up together knew her as "Mickey ". We went through grade school to graduation together. She was the most giving and friendly person ever. Spent many memories throughout school. Rest in Peace dear friend.Bette Toohey (Mathews)
I remember Mickey as bubbly and very nice. I also went through 12 years at the same schools, plus Girl Scouts for a time, with Mickey. Such a lovely obit, written with love and care.

Those of us who grew up with Arlene and played Koch Club softball with her nicknamed her "Mickey" (aka Mickey Mantle) because of her "prowess" (or lack thereof) on the softball field. She was always a good sport, always up for a bit of fun, and the name stuck as a term of endearment. She was always kind and a pleasure to be around. Rest in Peace, Dear Mickey.

I knew Arlene we connected when our kids were at Parker School and we were on the PTO I believe. I think I was in some of the classes with her at North, very nice person.

I've known Arlene since our days at Quincy Elementary. She was a lovely person. I ran into her over the years at hockey rinks and '64 reunions where she always greeted me with her happy smile. May she rest in peace. She is remembered fondly.
