Nancy Marie Keith, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 23, 2010 at home in Springfield, VA, in the presence of her family. Born on October 15, 1946 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence O’Donnell. She graduated from North Quincy High School in 1964. After dating her loving husband for six years, they married in 1968 and sailed away with the U. S. Navy for the next 32 years. During this voyage she gave birth to two wonderful sons, enrolled as a part time college student at each duty station, completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and sat for the CPA exam - passing all four sections the first time. She was employed by Ernst & Young as a CPA, retiring in 2008 to courageously battle her final fight against cancer. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, retired Rear Admiral Stephen T. Keith, U.S. Navy; two loving sons, Stephen T. Keith Jr. of Woodbridge, VA and Christopher S. Keith of Ocala, FL; five siblings, Priscilla Hatch, Colleen O’Donnell, Susan Mahan, Denise McLeod and Ted O’Donnell all from Massachusetts; daughter-in-law, Melissa Keith of Woodbridge, VA; and, three ever-so-precious grandchildren, Stephen III, Travis and Angelina. Loving and devoted mother and Navy spouse, accomplished cook and working professional, she has left this world a better place and will be missed by her family and by all that knew her.

Nancy was a class act, beautiful, great hair, cashmere sweaters, funny and willing to help, I talked with her a lot and not surprised she was successful in life, very sorry to see she passed.
