SULLIVAN, P. David Ret. Lt Col. US Army of Norwood formerly of Quincy passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Patricia F. (Murphy) Sullivan. Devoted father of Erin Randall and her husband John of Norwood, Lt Col US Army Brian D. Sullivan and his wife Kristin of NJ and Amy Sullivan of Walpole. Brother of Barbara Sullivan of Norwood and the late Robert Sullivan. Cherished grandfather of Shakura, Michael , Kevin, Sarah, Colin and Rylie. David was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the US Army for 33 years retiring as a Lt. Col. He was a member of the Norwood Retired Men’s Club. All services will be private and a burial will take place at a later date at the MA National Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.

I was saddened to read that Dave had passed away. He was the high school boyfriend and prom date of my next door neighbor. Just this week she asked if I'd heard anything about Dave, as she had not heard anything from him in quite awhile, and they did keep in touch. I, of course, forwarded his obit to her and say thanks to the person who passed it along to the class of 64.
Memories of Dave include double dates, weekends at my neighbor's place in New Hampshire, Dave in his Army uniform, skiing at Mt. Sunapee and I'm sure other memories will come to me.
